The compact weather-compensated AHE controller is designed for controlling a mixing heating or cooling circuit according to the outdoor temperature. It is built directly into the actuator housing and enables control of the mixing valve and circulation pump. Depending on the selected model, it also enables wireless connection to a room unit and outdoor sensor, as well as remote control via the SeltronHome system.

Clutch for manual operation
The clutch for manual operation of the compact AHE controller is activated by pressing the button with the gear symbol. Once the clutch is activated, manual movement of the valve is possible, while automatic control is interrupted and, if necessary, circulation pump operation is also stopped.

Quick installation
The innovative mounting accessories and system enable quick installation and removal of the compact AHE controller on the mixing valve, mostly without the use of tools.
Installation on the valve is carried out using the “push-on” system. For removal, simply release the locking mechanism on the flange and remove the controller from the valve.
The actuator cannot detach itself from the valve during operation.

User friendly interface
The user interface consists of a colour display and a keypad. The keypad has been deliberately placed under the manual movement button to prevent unwanted changes to the controller settings.
For clear and user-friendly data display, the controller has a built-in colour graphic display with a resolution of 240 × 240 pixels and adjustable brightness. Automatic screen orientation ensures data readability regardless of the controller installation position.

Signal strength check function (Range finder)
Good signal strength is essential for reliable operation of wireless devices. The wireless room unit and wireless outdoor sensor have a built-in convenient function that helps the user select an installation location with suitable signal strength.
At the intended installation location, activate the signal strength check function. After a few seconds, the device displays the wireless signal strength on the screen. This makes it possible to assess the suitability of the selected installation location.
If the signal is indicated as good, the selected location is suitable for reliable operation of the wireless device. If the signal strength is indicated as poor, another installation location must be selected.
At the intended installation location, activate the signal strength check function. After a few seconds, the device displays the wireless signal strength on the screen. This makes it possible to assess the suitability of the selected installation location.
If the signal is indicated as good, the selected location is suitable for reliable operation of the wireless device. If the signal strength is indicated as poor, another installation location must be selected.
Controller setup with wizard
The controller has a built-in wizard for initial setup. It is completed in four steps and includes:

Step 2: hydraulic scheme selection.
Step 3: selection of heating curve steepness.
Step 4: selection of the opening direction of the mixing valve.
After completing this procedure, the controller is set up and ready for basic operation.
